This blend is on the lighter side of a medium roast in order to preserve the flavors that are naturally found in these coffees. The Ugandan coffee brings in the fruity notes often found in African coffees which compliments the sweet caramelly notes found in the Colombian ingredient.

MEET True North
Life on Mount Elgon, Uganda is simple and beautiful. Farmers have been passing down their land to their children for more generations than can be counted. They tend to their land and subsist off of the fruits of their labor. What money they do make comes from their coffee production, and they use that money most often to pay for the education of their children.
In the small village of Yilwanako, this system is paramount to the lives of the farmers. They sell their coffee and send that money right to the school’s leader, Webanza Ambrose Wadamba and his wife Olivet, who cooks lunch for all the children. Webanza Ambrose also produces coffee, which he sells to better improve the school so all the children can be proud of where they study.
