15 pyramid sachets totalTaiwan is one of two areas in the world known to create the highest tier of oolong tea. This category of tea is the broadest and most diverse, deserves increased notoriety, and is by far one of our personal favorite styles. 
We chose the ever-reliable "four seasons spring" tea plant for a traditionally processed oolong. We then bake each batch to our custom profile as it perfectly pairs with the bright and lively zest of orange. Sharing this blend with you is a pleasure that we are sure you will find equally enjoyable. 

MEET Chen Mingwei
Chen Mingwei is an amazing farmer from the central Taiwanese appellation of Mingjian. Chen is of the younger generation of farmers and producers in Taiwan as well as part of the youthful resurgence that hopes to guarantee the continuity of Taiwan as one of very few premium oolong production areas of the world.
Chen learned tea making under his father earlier in life and, after returning from university with a biology degree, has been actively making tea for about six years. He now works along side his father and older brother who have collectively been farming and producing tea for several decades.
Like Chen's farm, small family operations in Mingjian are usually limited to a hectare or two of land so the lower elevation plateau of the appellation with relatively warm seasons benefit all farming communities there for continual production throughout the year.
